One of the surprise teams to start the 2019-2020 season has been the Phoenix Suns who have defeated teams such as the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors, and are playing without center DeAndre Ayton.

Ayton was hit with a 25-game suspension by the NBA due to violating the league’s anti-doping protocol, a big blow for the team and Ayton who was looking to build on an impressive rookie season.

According to Heavy, Ayton will not be taking the suspension lying down, saying he plans to fight the suspension in the hopes of getting it reduced, at the minimum.

Ayton has reached out to the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) for some assistance with his case.
