Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic made NBA history during Portland’s close win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

Nurkic became the first player to record at least 20 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, five blocks, and five steals in league history.

Nurkic finished with 24 points, 23 rebounds, seven assists, five blocks, and five steals.

The NBA has moved the start of free agency up 6 hours earlier, and will now begin at 6pm EST on June 30th.

Philadelphia 76ers swingman James Ennis is turning down his player option for the 2019-2020 season, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Ennis, 28, will hit the free agent market on July 1st after posting 7.9 ppg, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game this season.

Nuggets’ President Tim Connelly Remaining with Franchise

Denver Nuggets president Tim Connelly will remain with the Nuggets following an interview with the Washington Wizards, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Connelly met with Wizards owner Ted Leonsis on Friday to talk about the President gig with the team following the dismissal of longtime president Ernie Grunfeld, who had a 16 year tenure with the cluib.

Leonsis apparently made a strong offer to Connelly, but the Nuggets convinced him to stay.
