Washington Wizards’ forward Markieff Morris will now see a specialist concerning his neck injury, according to NBC Sports Washington’s Chase Hughes.

Morris missed their last two games after feeling discomfort in his neck and upper back, and the team decided to seek a second opinion after the first MRI revealed no significant damage.

“It’s something where I think if it required surgery, they would have told me already,” Morris said. “I don’t think it’s that deep. I hope it’s not that deep.”

Morris is averaging 11.5 points and 5.1 rebounds this season for the Wizards.
