Rockets Looking to Trade Brandon Knight

The Houston Rockets are looking to deal guard Brandon Knight, who they acquired ahead of the season from the Phoenix Suns, and recently returned to the court.

According to The Athletic’s Alykhan Bijani, the Rockets are shopping Knight and a first round draft pick in an effort to bring in another wing to the team.

However, Knight is generating zero interest from other teams, which is no surprise considering his lack of production since returning from injuries that sidelined him for close to two years.

Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon is confident that his team can once again break the NBA 3-point record at some point, after an impressive performance against the Washington Wizards.

“We don’t really go for stuff like that, but we know we’re capable of hitting a lot of threes like that. I expect us to do that, it was good to see,” said Gordon, according to Kelly Iko of The Athletic.

“It was our night, but I think we can do more. We’re gonna break the record again. We can make more than 26 threes. We just gotta continue to do what we do and thrive, but tonight was fun.”

The pace was incredible for Houston, and the Wizards were in for a rough night.

“They got a lot of good isolation plays and they made tough threes, the step-back threes were tough and they make them,” Wizards coach Scott Brooks said.

“They took 55 threes. We knew going into the game they were going to take a lot of them. They were hot and they’ve been hot for a while now. They have a couple of hot players and there’s not much you can do when they’re making contested threes.”
