Heat’s Josh Richardson Ignoring Trade Rumors

Published

on

Miami Heat rising star Josh Richardson may see his name more and more in the trade rumor mill until the NBA trade deadline passes, and he has been linked to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a potential Jimmy Butler deal, but he is not concerned with the rumors.

“I’ve always kind of stayed in my lane,” Richardson said, according to NBC Sports’ Dan Feldman.

The ascension of Richardson has been a surprise, even to Heat head coach Erick Spoelstra, so it’s not surprising that his name has come up in trade rumors.

“We never want to put a ceiling on anybody,” Spoelstra said. “When he first came in, no, I didn’t necessarily see him as this.”

So far this season, Richardson is putting up career numbers and showing everyone in the league that he is legit.

Dragan Bender

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors are interested in former Phoenix Suns forward Dragan Bender.

Bender was a major bust with the Suns, who drafted him with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, but he is still only 21 years old.
