When it comes to anyone messing with his teammates, Los Angeles Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell isn’t playing around, and he wasn’t going to stand for Minnesota Timberwolves guard Derrick Rose approaching Milos Teodosic after some chippy play during Monday night’s game.

“I’m the type of player who sticks up for his teammates,” Harroll said, according to ClutchPoints. “So honestly, when the altercation happened, when I saw D-Rose walking up on my teammate, that’s when it was time for me step in.

“I really don’t care what people feel about it,” Harrell added. “I don’t care who likes it and who doesn’t. I’m the type of player who plays for his teammates. I play for the guys that are on the court with me. And I feel like, at that point in time, Derrick Rose went after a person who really wasn’t even trying to cause that type of situation.”

Harell finished with  13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and three steals in the victory over Minnesota.

The Philadelphia 76ers pulled off a big trade this morning, a day before the NBA Trade deadline, when they acquired Tobias Harris from the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers will send Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, and Mike Scott to the Sixers for Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, a 2020 first-rounder, a 2021 unprotected 1st rounder via the Miami Heat, and two second rounders.

Harris is pouring in a career year, posting 20.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists a game this season, All-Star caliber numbers.

Wojnarowski goes on to report that this won’t be a rental for the 76ers, as they fully intend to keep both Harris and Jimmy Butler a part of their core moving forward.

Clippers’ Danilo Gallinari Hoping Milos Teodosic Stays with Team

Los Angeles Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari is hoping that the team will be able to keep his teammate, guard Milos Tedosic, long-term and is hoping Tedosic decides to stay.

“Milos has been playing more minutes lately and he has played very well for us every time he has played,” Gallinari said, according to EuroHoops.

“We can use him more and more, so I’m hopeful that he will stay with us. He’s a great guy and we have a very good relationship. So, hopefully, he can stay with us for the whole season.”

Tedosic has expressed an interest in returning to Europe, which has placed a cloud of uncertainty over his future with the Clippers, and in the NBA.

“I think I definitely won’t stay here because… I came, I saw how it looks and somehow… I enjoy more and it’s nicer for me to play in Europe. So, I will return to Europe for sure, will it be during this season or at the end, we’ll see.” Teodosic said, during an interview with Glas Amerike.

Despite Gallinari’s plea, it may not be in the cards for either party to continue their relationship as Teodosic has fallen out of the rotation.
