Bulls, Pacers Interested In Jahlil Okafor

Jahlil Okafor has struggled to stay on the court after an impressive rookie season, and he will be looking for a new home after the Brooklyn Nets are unlikely to bring him back next season, according to The Sporting News’ Sean Deveney.

Okafor worked out for teams while in Las Vegas and is generating interest from the Chicago Bulls and the Indiana Pacers.

Okafor has trimmed down, going from 275 pounds to 258 pounds.

With the trade deadline looking, and numerous rumors connecting the Los Angeles Lakers to being buyers at the deadline, Lakers’ guard Lonzo Ball is preparing for a potential move.

The Lakers are tied to New Orleans Pelicans’ superstar Anthony Davis, but seem the Pelicans may opt to take their time in dealing the superstar big man.

Lakers guard Lonzo Ball is one name that has been linked to trades, and he has his own list of preferred destinations.

According to the Los Angeles Times’ Tania Ganguli, Ball would prefer to end up with the New York Knicks or the Chicago Bulls, should either team be a 3rd team involved in a potential Davis trade.

New Orleans currently has Elfrid Payton running the point, but could make Ball a building block should they acquire him.

Clippers Interested in Bulls’ Robin Lopez

As the NBA trade season starts to rev up, rumors are starting to gain momentum and many have a few pieces from the Chicago Bulls on the move.

According to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha, the Los Angeles Clippers had expressed interest in Chicago Bulls veteran big man Robin Lopez, although “talks did not advance.”

Lopez is averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this season for the Bulls.

Bulls’ Kris Dunn Discusses Shooting Struggles

Chicago Bulls point guard Kris Dunn has been going through a bit of a shooting slump over the past few games, managing single digit points in four of the last five games for the Bulls.

Dunn has been horrendous from mid-range, but is keeping his head down as he tries to work through the slump.

“Definitely going through it,” Dunn said after the game, according to Mark Strotman of NBC Sports Chicago. “It’s part of the NBA. It’s on me to find a way to get out of it. I feel like I’m getting to my spots and it’s just not knocking down right now.”
