Rockets Sign Chris Paul To Four-Year Max Contract

The Houston Rockets have ensured that All-Pro point guard Chris Paul stays in Houston for a long time as they have agreed with Paul on a four-year max contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Paul’s projected total value for the deal is upwards of $159.73M.

Paul was a major contributor to the Rockets, helping them to the Western Conference Finals.

Paul averaged 18.6 points and 7.9 assists last season for Houston.

Rockets Claim Ray Spalding Off Waivers

The Houston Rockets have claimed veteran power forward Ray Spaulding off of waivers from the Atlanta Hawks, according to Stadium and The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The Rockets opened up an available roster spot when the released forward Anthony Bennett earlier this week.

Spalding, 22, played 14 games for the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns during his rookie season.
