The New York Knicks won’t be making a head coaching change this season as the team will reportedly retain head coach Jeff Hornacek.
Knicks general manager Scott Perry recently commented about Hornacek’s future with the team, according to the New York Post’s Marc Berman.
“No, we’re not looking to make any changes… We’re evaluating the entire season. Jeff and his group are working really hard with this basketball team and doing the very best they can and obviously this is an adversity for them to deal with KP being out, but I’m confident that they’ll be able to do a good job of keeping this team playing hard and playing together.’’
The Knicks are likely to target a higher profile head coach in the offseason with Mark Jackson topping the list of potential candidates who could fit nicely into the Knicks’ future plans.
