The Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz completed a blockbuster 3-team trade ahead of the NBA trade deadline, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Cleveland will ship Iman Shumpert and a 2020 2nd round pick, which was acquired from the Miami Heat, to the Sacramento Kings for George Hill, who has been on the trade block for weeks.
Sacramento will land Joe Johnson from Utah, who will receive Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose from the Cavs.
The Jazz will send Rodney Hood to the Cavs. Hood is averaging a career-high 16.8 points and 2.8 rebounds for Utah this season.
It has been a busy day in the market, which has been dominated by the Cavs who have decided to gut their team.
Hill is averaging 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists this season and provide a stable force in the Cavs backcourt.
