The Memphis Grizzlies fans aren’t too happy with Chandler Parsons and they let him know during Memphis’ 103-91 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night at FedExForum.
Fans jeered and booed Parson as he put in 6 points during the win.
The booing did not sit well with Parsons who had plenty to say to the media about his feelings.
“It’s tasteless,” Parsons said, according to the Commercial Appeal’s Geoff Calkins. “I’ll treat home games like road games if that’s the way it’s going to be.”
Grizzlies’ center Marc Gasol said that booing Parsons “is like booing Mike [Conley] or booing myself,” according to Calkins.
Parsons has been a major disappointment and is now in his 2nd season of a four-year, $94 million max deal and fans have apparently had enough.
Injuries have limited him but even when he is one the court his production has been down and he has struggled to find a role on the team.
