Kings Interested In Jabari Parker For the Right Price

The Sacramento Kings may have interest in Milwaukee Bucks restricted free agent Jabari Parker, who has fallen out of favor with the organization and seems likely to be finding a new team this summer, according to NBC Sports California’s James Ham.

While the Kings do have an interest in Parker, the price will have to be right for them to make a move.

While Parker is enticing due to his age and potential, injuries and struggles will make teams, such as the Kings, weary of making a long-term, big financial commitment to him.

Bucks Waive Shabazz Muhammad

The Milwaukee Bucks have waived veteran swingman Shabazz Muhammad, according to an official team announcement.

Muhammad joined the Bucks last season following the finalization of his buyout from the Minnesota Timberwolves, playing in just 11 games with Milwaukee to close out the regular season and averaging 8.5 ppg during that span.

Muhammad will become an unrestricted free agent if he goes unclaimed on waivers on Saturday

Bucks Sign Pat Connaughton

The Milwaukee Bucks have reached an agreement with free agent Pat Connaughton on a two-year deal, according to Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania.

Connaughton, 25, spent the last three seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, where last season he played in all 82 games and averaged  5.4 PPG, 2.0 RPG, and 1.1 APG per contest.

Bulls, Jabari Parker Agree To Two-Year Deal, Bucks Rescind Offer

The Chicago Bulls have agreed to a two-year, $40 million contract with Jabari Parker, who was a restricted free agent up until the Milwaukee Bucks rescinded their offer, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Parker averaged  12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Bucks last season, after he returned from an ACL tear in February.

Milwaukee allowed Parker and his agent to work out a deal with his hometown Bulls.

The Bucks commented on their decision to rescind Parker’s offer, via the Chicago Tribune’s Malika Andrews.
