The same elbow injury that cost Charlotte Hornets forward Nicolas Batum the first 12 games of the season has come back around.

Batum missed the first part of the season due to a torn ligament in his left elbow and missed the second half of Charlotte’s 129-124 overtime victory over the Washington Wizards with a left elbow contusion.

Charlotte coach Steve Clifford did not update Batum’s status after the game.

Batum is averaging 13.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in four games this season.
