The New York Knicks have signed veteran point guard Ramon Sessions to a one-year deal at the veteran’s minimum, according the ESPN via The Vertical.

Sessions, who has spent 10 seasons in the NBA, averaged 6.2 points and 2.6 assists per game for the Charlotte Hornets last season, a season where he was limited to 50 games due to a meniscus injury.

The Knicks remain in play for Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving.

Sessions’ veterans-minimum exception is worth $2.33 million.
