Free agent guard Brandon Jennings, who spent last season with the New York Knicks and the Washington Wizards, has signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal to play for China Shanxi.

Jennings’ deal was reported by The Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears.

Jennings averaged 8.6 points and 4.9 assists backing up Knicks guard Derrick Rose. Jennings requested to be waived midway through the season in order to play with a contender.

Jennings eventually landed with the Washington Wizards in which he posted only 3.5 points per game.
